Lunch Specialtys danena's famous crabcakes 19 chicken salad plate 14 curry pastry 8 rustic thin crust pizza 10 creamy cheezie pasta 10 vegetable noodle bowl 10 All lunch selections served with coleslaw and choice of side. Coffee 2.25, Tea 1.75, Juice 2,Sparkling water 3 Smoothies 7, Milkshakes 7, Iced tea 2.75 Iced coffee 3.50, Iced chaga 3.50,Beer 9,Wine 9 Shots 5 and Cocktails 9. Danena's dinner menu is designed simply....... around local fresh organic product availability. We are proud supporters of Pan Cape Breton Food Hub and have an abundance of seafood being delivered fresh daily, including our wonderful Raspberry Point Oysters and North Harbour Mussels in our back yard. We are excited to see all our customers return 2020. Our tentative OPEN date is Friday June 26th at 9 am. Dinner service will begin on July 1st and with Dinner comes Bakery and Dessert Menu. Hello out there. It is a rainy ole day here in South Harbour. Let's hope for some good weather for our weekend market at Danena's. I have been working up ...a storm , getting everything ready. I have lots of gift giving items all 50 % off as well as lots of Flea market items, everything is priced to sell ( I love to Barter ). We will have Soup, Chowder and Buttermilk biscuits to keep you warm, as well as Specialty Hot Chocolate, Hot Apple Cider and lots of Hot Coffee Drinks and Tea. I have a nice variety of Squares, Bannocks, Multi Grain Breads, Shepherd and Celtic loafs as well as Raisan Cranberry Bread. I am preparing several kinds of Soup in a Jar, perfect for freezing....... Their sure were a lot of hungry travellers this weekend WOW ! Danena's will continue service through September Folks at which time we will make a decision based on travellers, whether we will stay into October. Thanks So Much for the continuing support....It has been a good one so far.

Danena's is Open 6 days a week Folks, Breakfast , Lunch and Dinner. Our Bakery is Full Daily with lots of Traditional Scottish Buttery Baked goodies.....Cinnamon Rolls, Oatcakes, Bluberry Scones, Banana Bread, Blueberry Loaf, Fancy Oatcakes, Lemon Tarts, Butter Tarts........lots of goodies. . We OPEN at 9 am and we CLOSE at 8 pm with the exception of Monday at 3 and CLOSED on Tuesday. Drop by for a lovely fresh homemade meal ( no deep frying ) a baked goodie or Laughing Whale Fair Trade Coffee sure to Rock your Boat.. Wow 10 years ago .....disaster struck ,our wonderful little rural remote community fixed it. This is a wonderful place Covid free, keep your masks on and your hands clean.

Danena's would like to say a Big Thank You to everyone who joined us for our First Shindig of the Season, lots of great music, food and drink, a great time was had by all.We will continue having Shindigs every Saturday throughout August and September, every Saturday at Danena's. It all starts at 5 o'clock evening.

DANENA'S will be OPEN today, Monday July 7th until 3 o'clock, We have a nice selection of Baked Goodies available, as well as Fresh made Lunch Choices. Danena's has one more update Folks.We have carefully considered the lack of travelers during the week and have come to a decision. We will CLOSE Monday at 3 o'clock and RE- OPEN Thursday at 9 am, we are also offering Grab and Go Sandwiches, Salads, Beef Jerky, Fruit cups,Pasta salads and lots more fun stuff.. We do encourage small groups to take advantage of our lovely Dining Room, by booking an hour ahead we can acomodate groups of 20 while providing Covid Restrictions.
