I'm guiding this fun and interactive self-discovery program about the power of personality. It begins Wednesday night this week! Join us!... Consider the people we encounter each day. Each person we know has their own preferences, tendencies and ways of dealing with stress and difficulties. So do we! We can learn how to bring out the best in each other, rather than driving each other crazy! These four linked weekly workshops introduce the personality concepts of True Colors . an Mangan's mom Louise is an inspiring activist and dear friend; she shared one of Dan's new songs with me earlier today. When I heard these haunting lyrics and lovely melody, I was moved by how it describes the sorrow, rage, hope and resiliency I feel in myself and sense all around me. It is a song for this moment. I've facilitated a series of Zoom circles this week and over a hundred or so folks who have articulated all that is echoed in Dan' song: their own complex emotion...s and the creative tension-holding that defines this difficult time. It is a grace to have artists who can reflect back, make real the experience not yet owned, and help us 'find a light on so that we can see'. Thanks Dan.
