Here's a few things you may not know about the resort: The endeavor to build this property was the biggest that Prestige’s owners ever undertook, and their first (and only) on Vancouver Island. Construction was completed in April 2011. ... The property offers some of the most luxurious accommodations on Vancouver Island, and welcomes visitors from around the world who are looking for a high-end experience in a relaxed, natural environment. Whales can often be seen swimming in the waters nearby, and seals and marine life are never far from the shore. It’s also welcomed many movie crews and well-known actors over the years including most recently Beau Bridges, Parker Posey, and Ken Jeong in 2019.
