December Stats are out! But what do these numbers really mean to you? Give me a shout and let’s break down the numbers

It's January, which means a fresh start, and new goals for the new year. Since most of us are staying inside and still practicing social distancing, it's the perfect time to pick up a good book to give us some extra motivation and inspiration. I'm currently in to Flow by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, and looking for my next read. What are your favourite self-growth books or podcasts that I should know about?

So you're thinking about buying a home, you've been combing through properties on @realtordotca for months on your couch, you've crunched numbers and talked to a lender (or maybe you haven't yet), and you are wondering where to start. : Find an agent you trust A buyer’s agent is a real estate professional who is legally licensed to represent you as a buyer and your interests, as opposed to a seller’s agent who has the seller’s best interests at heart.... What does a buyer's agent do for you? 1. . I will help you understand what to expect, and what you need to be ready for, as well as answer any and all questions that you may have. 2. and point out good features, as well as potential red flags such as maintenance issues or expensive items that need replaced. 3. and help you decide on a fair price based on comparable homes that have sold nearby. As your agent, I will negotiate throughout the entire transaction and keep you up to speed on the dates and deadlines to make sure you close on time. Not only will I work with you to understand exactly what you are looking for in a home, I will also identify homes to show, schedule showings, plan out the best routes, drive from house to house, talk to the listing agents, and find out everything I can about the homes that we are seeing. I help schedule the inspection and negotiate any repairs or credits, as well as find specific contractors to look into a potential issue if need be. I also communicate with your lender, the appraiser, the home inspector, and the other agent. , and that's why I love it! Buying a home will likely be the most expensive purchase you will ever make, and the home you end up with will affect your quality of life (and that of your family) for the foreseeable future. Sales and new listings reached record levels for the month of October, with reported sales on the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board up 25.1% over October 2019. Not all markets are created equal though, and year-over-year growth rates for sales and new listings diverged in some segments. In the detached market segment, the pace of annual sales growth far outstripped growth in new listings. Conversely, the condominium apartment market segment experienced more than double the new listings compared to October 2019, whereas sales were only up by 2.2 per cent over the same period.
