These two are getting married today!! K & B’s original plans got a little shaken up by Covid, but I think they managed to come up with a back up plan at least as good as the original and I am SO EXCITED to finally get back out there to capture a beautiful couple get married! @ Mission Creek

Covid, shmovid! My tiny dancer practiced with her class via zoom over the past few months, and then met in small groups to record their performances to be watched in a couple weeks drive-in style. She learned last week that there would be a professional photographer at the studio the night of the taping. She was pretty excited for a photoshoot, not quite remembering what dance photos are like, and left a touch disappointed that she didn’t get to try out all of her own poses, ...with a bunch of photographer time dedicated to just her lol. Here’s a small selection of her working it for me in our back yard once we got home. She’s entirely self-directed, standing in front of my dad’s roses, making the images even more so meaningful, as today marks four years since he passed and he definitely would have loved to see this.
