I saw this post the other day For those of you who dont know, this is Maslows Hierarchy of Needs. Recently I have been seeing and hearing of people beating themselves up because they are not maximizing their time in quarantine....me included. ... If this is you.......STOP! According to Maslows Hierarchy of Needs, humans have basic requirements (bottom of the pyramid) food, water, air, shelter, sleep... once those needs have been met we can continue to move up the pyramid. If you slept If you woke up and took a breath If you ate If you drank water Then you are right where you need to be be and thats enough! So be gentle and cut yourself some slack! Focus first at the bottom of the pyramid. Have you eaten today? Have you showered? Did you eat and vegetables? Did you get enough sleep? It is only once you have met your basic needs that you can move up. Celebrate the small successes. We will get through this. For now, that enough
Alison Foy - Coach & Speaker and I had the privlege of sitting down with Cassandra Griffin, RMT and Registered Yoga Teacher, to discuss Creating Mindful Moments.
Mindful Monday Wherever you are at today, you are enough You woke up, thats enough... You took a few deep breaths, thats enough You at breakfast, thats enough You exercised, thats enough You are relaxing on the couch today taking time for you, thats enough What are you doing for self care to start the week off?
I am going digital! I have been spending the past few weeks exploring different ways to continue supporting clients during this unprecedented time. Something I am learning through this process is adaptability! Learning to adapt to a new "normal", being gentle with myself, allowing myself to feel the uncomfortableness and learning to let go of the outcome and trust the process anyways ... During this time I will be offering..... Online counselling and coaching Counselling and coaching calls Time Line Therapy DM me for more information!
Great read about self awareness and creating and maintaining healthy boundaries
Whatever your focusing on, keep going....You Got This

When you complete a QCP session and this is what your client has to say So grateful and honoured to have the privilege of guiding, supporting and holding space for my clients Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for you kind words and for trusting me to support you on your journey
So much truth in this article Our inner child, our unconscious mind, the negative memories and events, the unkind words ever spoken to us that we try so hard to bury deep inside and forget, all attach a belief system to them. That belief system is what drives our bus every day. Our actions, reactions and behaviour are controlled by these buried experiences and traumas without us being consciously aware. Be kind to yourself. Healing is an art. It takes time, it takes patience, it takes love. You got this!

As we move into a new year and you reflect on this past year, take time to celebrate you Dont just celebrate the successes but the messy stuff, the struggles, the growth, the falls, all the times you got back up. Celebrate the small steps you took to get to where you are, celebrate the here and now because the successes are in the messy stuff too So cheers to who you were, who you are and who you are becoming #happynewyear2020 #2020vision #2020goals #celebrateyou #successisinthesmallstepstoo #selfempowermentcoaching
