I’m back at the sewing machine again, and I am beyond thrilled to introduce you to sweet Zeus, a gentle giant. It took some time and a few fittings, but I now have a pattern for a Great Dane onesie.

The need for masks and caps seems endless. I will get back to this eventually. If you want something for a birthday or other event, let me know and I will accommodate, otherwise I feel strongly about supporting our essential workers at this time.

Hope everyone is staying safe and making the most of this unusual time in history. I have suspended my usual sewing projects and will complete all outstanding orders shortly. I am currently sewing masks and surgical caps in response to urgent appeals from the community. Please check out the Facebook group called Sew the Curve Kamloops to view love in action.

Waiting to see these being modelled! My 9-5 is busier than ever and my retirement plans are on hold, so not much sewing happening at this time. I would like to give a shout out to those working in the background to keep life as normal as possible under the circumstances. Just to list a few in my life: all the janitors, mechanics, dispatchers and others keeping trucks and buses on the road, warehouse workers, daycare workers, those working in the justice system, corrections, courthouse staff, sheriffs, lawyers, religious leaders. Stay safe!

And sometimes I am asked to create for baby people, instead of dogs. Here are a couple of nursing pillows, one for an antler themed nursery, and one for a rainbow baby. The generous size allows lots of room to rest your arms, or for a toddler or fur baby to cuddle while you are feeding baby.
