It is once again that time of year and we are currently taking orders for our personalized and custom hand painted Christmas ornaments! Ornaments are glass and come in a variety of colours (we will post colour choices in the next couple of days) and this year we will be doing some new ornaments of various characters as well! We will be posting some of past creations in the coming days to give you an idea of options that we have done, but we can do pretty much anything - it is all done free-hand, no stencils, no vinyl! Wouldn't it be GREAT if we could get that number higher? So many people say you cannot make money from doing what you love - especially anything in the Arts - you don't have to make a tonne of money to be rich in happiness. I would rather be a starving artist and happy doing what I'm doing, than be a CEO of some company with lots of money, who has to be accessible 24/7 via cell phone/email/text/whatever, and who is miserable in their job. Money can't buy you happiness. Let your kids experiment with art. They may surprise you. :)

Due to last minute instructor cancellations, we are having to redo our schedule to fill these spots. Schedule should be posted by tomorrow evening. Starting this Thursday, June 18, we will be offering Mom & Me classes for the Hand-print Tree, Simple Samples, and All About my Dad. For Kids ages 5-12 years, we will be offering All About my Dad, Treasure Box for Dad, and Picture Frame for Dad. so not much activity in the last couple of years (has it really been that long?). Lots has been going on, including a long distance move. Now looking at potentially opening an actual store, will be looking at a rental property in the next few days. Price is almost where I would like it to be, and is negotiable. Hopefully the stars and the fates will line up and bring me what I need! Have to say I'm a little excited that my dream may actually become a reality! :D

The website is back up, slightly revised. Due to my current financial situation being as bad as it is, I will be selling off all my paintings at 50% off the current list prices. so ArtXtreme this past weekend was pretty literally a washout...the rain and wind pretty much killed the event, and the highlight of my day was getting hit on by Eddie Shack...lol :P Still, I did enjoy myself and met some new people and made some excellent contacts, which included a photographer who is willing to photograph my work properly so that we can make prints to sell, as well as being asked to join next year's Purple Turtle Art Festival in Jackson's Point. :) I will... probably be spending the next couple weeks finishing up the wall mural I began a bit ago, and getting it off my plate so that I can move on to more paintings of a smaller scale. Not sure when my next show will be as the one I was hoping to get to in Niagara-on-the-Lake filled up before I could get my application in. But there are more out there and I will update as they are booked. :) See more

Prices will be dropping significantly, so if you've had your eye on something and thought you couldn't afford it, make sure you check in next week. Also, if there is a painting in any of the galleries that you like, but has sold or has no pricing, let me know - we can look at replicating something similar. :)

First show of the season is booked. ArtXtreme 2012 at the Georgina ROC in Keswick on Saturday, June 2, 2012. There will be lots to do besides the artists present. more info to follow as details are madw available. my first local show...so excited! :)

it is amazing that the thing that inspires the art is the same thing that sabotages it... withing all evil there is good; withing all good there is evil. the brain is experiencing some technical difficulties, and all new projects have been put on hold. will hopefully be back up and operational within the next few weeks. this year's show announcements will be coming soon as well.

been a bit time away from the studio, new full time job just before christmas took up so much time...now it's inventory time, but hopefully in the next few weeks i can get some new work done with my paintings! starting a new wall mural tomorrow...pics will follow as it progresses! :)
