Darkside Dressage COVID19 update - Feb 8, 2021 Hey everyone! Looks like we are getting closer to being able to lesson again - but not quite yet. This is my understanding of todays announcement and we will keep evaluating for additional clarity for a safe return to riding. Our regions, Wellington and Waterloo, will be coming out of lockdown on Feb 16 IF all goes as planned. At this stage we will be back in the colour system. Projection is for us to go to grey.... Lessons will be offered once the region that you and I live AND work AND ride in is in Orange or better. It's still a few weeks away, but I can't wait to see you and your horses again. Until then... Hit the trails or keep an eye out for fun arena exercises to practice, or watch your favorite dressage videos and visualize your body riding those movements (bonus point and muscles if you do this while sitting on a Yoga ball). It's moving week! We've been busy here at Darkside Dressage getting ready for our new farm. Many projects are in the works. I can't wait to show you what we are doing! Stay tuned.

Hey everyone! I just heard the news. Yay!!! Boarding barns can reopen. Be safe. Be slow. Your barn owner will provide you with the new protocol for your barn. Don't rush. Figure out how to make the new rules work. I will be available for lessons in a week or so, I need to give you and your barn owner a chance to set everything up. So, ride your horse... Have fun... Start that training back up. But, be slow. Remember that your horse has been off work for some time. Rebuild the fitness slowly, patiently. We have time. Message me if you need help setting up a rebuilding schedule. I will see you all soon.
