Although Remembrance Day will look very different this year, we will remember them. Please don't forget to buy a poppy this year! This was my statement 'in' the House of Commons today.

I’d like to give a special shout-out to our friends at the Oakwood Terrace Nursing Hometo the residents, family of residents, and volunteers who made the beautiful ‘Oakwood Poppy Art Display.’ Over 2,000 poppies were knitted, and folks hand sewed the poppies onto canvas to make the display complete. This labour of love was made to show support of those who serve and have served. The Poppy Art is on display at Oakwood Terrace, and will be moved to the Sullivan’s Pond cenotap...h for Remembrance Day. I know that we all can’t go to the cenotaphs this year, but projects like this show us that we can still take the time to remember.
