Real leaders use th...e words..."We"...."US" and "OUR".....they feed others and motivate them to be our future leaders and always share the credit with many...." Listen closely to what u will hear over the next several weeks and months....read carefully what will be posted publicly and do not be afraid to ask the very important questions that need to be asked...... then u will be empowered to decide whom you wish to support to be a leader and to serve u..... I was eager and honored to Second the Motion below by Councilor Madonna Stewart-Sharpe to form a Community Ad Hoc Committee to oversee and insure the proper, full and complete reinstatement of St Philips Beach once the emergency repairs to the road and infrastructure are complete. Her Motion was unanimously endorsed by all councilors present. This beach is an important jewel for its historic heritage, recreation and tourism offerings and has been and will continue to be a sp...awning ground for marine life for decades to come. Councilor Stewart-Sharpe will get things rolling professionally and expeditiously and I have great confidence that all aspects of environment, heritage, recreation and tourism will be enhanced fully and the general public, community Organizations, Fisheries Department, and others will play a part in reinstating the beach to a wonderful scenic area for all townspeople to enjoy.
