On Sunday, October 18th, Dartmouth First Church of The Nazarene presented Daniel Yarn with the first level of ministry credentials, a Local Church License to Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through this, the church recognizes the graces and giftings for ministry in Daniel our support of his calling as he continues his studies at Kingswood University in Susses, New Brunswick. Please continue to pray for Daniel and Kassie as they continue to follow the calling of God upon their lives.

Welcome to our Virtual Communion Service. Dartmouth First Church practices open Communion Services for all believers in Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and Lord of their lives. Whether they be members or adherents to our congregation or those who visit us from time to time, each and every believer is welcome. We also provide Communion emblems for those of our congregation who are shut-in due to illness or disability so that they can participate with us in our Virtual Services. Your Shepherd’s Voice: Is Everybody Happy? This is something we hear from time to time at celebrations, entertainment venues, and even at a circus, and the expected answer is always supposed to be a resounding YES!. However, the truthful answer is not always going to be what one would hope for. The truth is , NO! everybody is not happy!... Happiness depends on happenstance, the opportune moments where mirth and advantage merge. True happiness is not something that comes by chance. What we seek is not truly happiness, but joy! We seek a state of blessedness. We don’t come by that easily. The Word of God gives us direction in the matter, Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. If you want true joy in life, seek the counsel of God, and walk in His word. The sense of joy that comes from His presence will stand the test of time and circumstance in your life. Matthew 6:33 (Jesus said) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things(true needs of life) shall be added unto you. That’s where the joy comes from! See more
