Delegate Selection Meeting for CPC Convention, Halifax, will be held March 20/18 at 7PM at 50 Caledonia Rd., EDCC. Must be a Party member at least 21 days prior to meeting. Please bring 2 pieces of ID, one with your picture, the other with your address. Delegate information paper to be filled out prior to start of meeting with mover and seconder information to be included.

When it comes to trade, Canada’s Conservatives believe Canada’s strength has always been linked to openin...g trade with the world, and seeking out partners with whom we are most compatible. Not every country shares Canada’s commitment to a free-market economy, protections for workers and the environment, protection of intellectual property and transparent governance. Conservatives do not want to see further concessions by the Trudeau Liberal government to conclude with a deal that gives the benefits to the Chinese government, and makes Canadian workers and businesses pay the price. It’s time for Canada to take a step back and think clearly about the costs and benefits to Canadians. Standing up for Canada is not a sign of hostility towards China. It’s in our national interest to do so.
