DARTS Transit

Effective immediately, the 2-bag limit for passengers on DARTS has been increased to 4 bags. Bags cannot be any larger than a standard, large, reusable shopping bag and clients must be able to manage all bags themselves.

DARTS Transit has updated our bag limit policy. Each passenger is permitted to carry a maximum of 4 bags. Each bag is required to be secured so that they are not a danger and the passenger must be able to manage the bags themselves.

Due to inclement weather today, DARTS may be running late. Thank you for your patience during poor weather conditions.

DARTS is experiencing technical issues this morning. We apologize for any service delays that this is causing. We are working to have this resolved as soon as possible and will keep you updated.

DARTS will be upgrading its reservation and ride management systems from 5 PM to 2 AM today: Monday, September 21, 2020. DARTS reservations will remain operational during normal working hours, but they will be operating manually. Your patience is appreciated.

DARTS will be implementing fares on July 1, 2020. Ticket sales are at 36 Hunter Street GO Station. Their hours are 8:30am-4:30pm. Masks will be mandatory as of June 22, 2020.

DARTS continues to follow strict Public Health guidelines through the Covid-19 pandemic by providing essential rides only at this time. DARTS also endorses the Public Health recommendation that all passengers wear masks until further notice. The health and safety of our clients and drivers are our highest priority.

Ride Advise is the DARTS’ phone call that clients can sign up to receive 10 minutes prior to their ride coming. You now have the option of receiving a call or a text message. Please let your reservationist know if you'd like to sign up for Ride Advise.

DARTS has partnered with Hamilton Food Share and in addition to providing essential trips to passengers, have been delivering meals to those in need and shut-in due to Covid-19. We are so proud to be able to assist Hamilton Food Share during this difficult time. DARTS' employees continue to work through this crisis and do so with a smile on their face. We are truly grateful to the wonderful team we have.
