Out of respect and caution for our patients, it is with a heavy heart we have made the difficult decision of temporarily closing our doors during the COVID-19 outbreak. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Please believe there's nothing more we would like to do than be able to continue helping and working, however, our community is much more important than that. We will initially close for a 3 week period (Until April 6th) which we hope will be more than enough time... for everything to blow over. Should any increased time be necessary we will notify each individual personally. In the meantime, we will monitor the situation closely and adjust accordingly. Thank you so much for your understanding and co-operation. This decision was based on the recommendations and advice of our national health care organizations and was made with careful thought. The majority of individuals may not show symptoms yet be carriers, and to expose the vulnerable sector to the illness by proxy is not a risk we would like to take. At this time, we feel we need to support our medical health care workers, hospitals and community and do our part to 'flatten the curve' and reduce the acuteness if at all possible. In the meantime, please remember to take care of yourself. People may be asked to practice social distancing and quarantine, but that doesn't mean the outdoors are off limits! We had such an awesome time this morning volunteering at the annual McLaughlin 4 Miler! Mental Health is an important cause to both of us, and we’re so proud to help out!

Yesterday our clinic went through an absolutely tragic loss with the passing of our kind, gentle and wise puppydog, Broccoli (Brock). This beautiful 12 year old friend was caring, dignified and respectful. He brought so much love and joy into our lives and our treatment room, and we are devastated he is gone. He sat with us during our preparations for exams, put up with us fussing over him, and always always showed us love and tried his best. I BOUGHT A CLINIC SPACE!!! I’m beyond excited and overwhelmed to be able to finally make it Facebook official, but with the tremendous work and efforts of Eunice Nicolle at Royal LePage and Bryan Richard at CUA, I closed on my very first purchase ever!! I’m so grateful for my parents, as well as Trevor Stevens for their continuous support, last minute decision making help as well as their amazing patience with me through this real ‘adulting’ process. Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to muster the courage and confidence I needed to jump into the big kid world. Thank you so much My amazing parents and I will be doing a bunch of reno’s for a few months, and then Trev and I will move into our stunning new treatment space!! Stay tuned for the pleasures and plot twists of starting a new business!

It finally happened, folks! I treated a lovely man with acupuncture, took the needles out, finished the treatment, and asked him to meet me in the waiting room when he was ready. 14 minutes later, I hear a snore through the door!
