I became a Green Circle Salon when I first opened my doors over 2 years ago, it was an easy choice to make when it felt like everything was so hard. Fast forward to two and half years later, when I find myself reopening my salon for the second time, with a entirely different set of hard choices and decisions. Update from Daughter of Oz Salon First, and most importantly, a sincere heart-felt thank to all of you whove reached out, sent messages, bought product and gift certificates and have been waiting so patiently to have your hair done. Times are tough- but we are in this together! There has been no word (yet!) on when the salon can reopen- but Im working diligently behind the scenes to plan and prepare. Online booking remains closed, and I am keeping track of every appointm...ent that will be and has been affected by the closure. Your appointment wont be lost or forgotten, and Ill be in touch to reschedule as soon as we have a confirmed date. In the meantime, the online store has been restocked with all of your favourite products, and Ive added some really cool hair accessories that are handmade in Toronto. Im also officially opening the salon every Friday from 11:00am to 1:00pm for curbside pickup. As I spent this past weekend surrounded by loved ones (and good food!), I found time to reflect on the things that Im thankful for. This year has been a whirlwind with plenty of ups and downs (mostly ups!) and Im forever grateful for the continued support of the people on this journey with me. Today, as I sat in my salon preparing to start my day, I felt overwhelming gratitude for the people who sit in my chair, supply me with the tools I need, and share their wisdom with ...me.
