It was when at the Burdette Gallery the owner Paul (famous bird carver) suggested I try bird carving. So I enrolled in a summer night class with a carver named ...Peter Terrel. He was demonstrating how to carve chains and little palm sized bird decoys. After we had mastered that, he said now you can do your own project, anything you want. So I went out the next day, cut down a big poplar and ended up with the Bald Eagle. Which sold the next year at the prestigious Burette's Gallery for $2800. See more
