Baby faced for the first time in three years.

Seventy five years since VE Day in Europe. Amazing to hear the Queens recollection of events this morning on the news. And a great moment to stop and reflect on the sacrifices those before us made so we could enjoy the life we do. #weshallnotfoget

Shoutout to byron for turning on the weather as soon as we’re all in lockdown.

New favourite spot to chill.

Throwback...Friday? Tekapo always brings the good even if my Instagram status updates don’t.

Definitely not an Australian beach. Despite years of complaining about the cold, I could use a crisp southern NZ morning or two sometime soon.

Sneaky shot of my last birthday in New Zealand. Featuring the old man, a hundred year old Winchester and Kuhurangi National Park. Wish I could be self isolating in this paradise right now.

Couldn’t begin to tell you what @jamie.f_ was doing. But I went surfing.

Never a bad day on the beach.

Ten years ago I took this photo stalking a deer in Fiordland. It’s been a hell of a decade and I’d never have picked the script that led me to this point. But it’s been a hell of a ride. She’s had some highs and lows. There’s a few good mates who are no longer with us since then. And a lot more who’ve joined the crew over the last decade. Our family has expanded. And I’m now across the ditch. ... That said. Some things in life remain consistent. I’ll never be happier than a crisp morning in the Bush, a rifle in hand and wilderness to explore.

Quick mission into the hills. No near death experiences or injuries to report. Clearly growing as a person.

Try sleeping when this is your backdrop. The saddest part is watching whole Colonies of bats flying around. And wondering if they’re out because the fires have turned day to night or because their homes have been destroyed.

‘When did we all start to act like nothing matters anymore?’ - Rise Against. As terrible as these fires have been the last few weeks. They’re confronting. And hopefully they’re forcing conversations that need to be had. ... Australia is the top carbon polluter per capita in the world. And 25% of all envision in Australia come from coal. Want to reduce the impact of Climate Change quickly? Install solar panels. Don’t own a home? Chat with your landlord. Want to take it a step further? Start a conversation in your workplace about where they source their power from.

The sad reality is that someone watching this sunset will be dead because of this fires that caused it before tomorrow morning. Nearly nine hundred thousand hectares of land has been burned since last Friday in NSW. That’s an area twenty four times the size of the Gold Coast, five times the size of Stewart island, almost the same size as Fiordland. ... These fires have burned triple the land mass of the previous worst fire year in NSW and the season has only just begun. Make no mistake. This is as a direct result of climate change. People have and will continue to die as a result of this governments refusal to acknowledge climate change. Tonight wind speed is expected to double and the worst firestorm in NSW history will rage across our state. When will you care enough to start make those who caused this suffer? When we have no forests left? When our land has burned to the ground? When we can’t breath anymore? Your vote matters. Get out and make climate change a voting issue. It took 24 hours for Scott Morrison to declare a state wide emergency. It’s been forty years and we’re still waiting for them to declare a climate one. Get out. Vote out the politicians who caused this with their inaction. And make a difference before it’s too late.

Dosn’t matter what lens you look through the sun still looks apocalyptic. Cheers to @secretgardenbyronbay for hosting us yesterday arvo. Here’s too a better week for the east coast than last.

Byron lighthouse never fails to impress for a sunset walk.

Canada might have had the Aurora. But Byron puts on a hell of a light show herself.
