Proactive Health 24.12.2020

I am very excited to announce that from now on, David Kemp Personal Training, will be called Proactive Health. Proactive Health has been a vision of mine for some time now. It’s built on the foundation that a person can create or control their own health instead of reacting once something bad has happened. When I first started DKPT, personal training was the sole focus of what I did. Over the last year having graduated with a degree in Kinesiology and also completing my FS...T certification it has allowed my business to expand beyond just personal training. Proactive Health is going to change the way we approach our health and fitness. It’s going to give people the ability to live happier healthier lives so they can take care of the ones around them. I urge you to think about how YOU are being proactive about your health. Now, more than ever, it is of the utmost importance to prioritize your health. As devastating as it is knowing we will not be able to see you anymore I find comfort in the fact that you aren’t in any pain anymore and your reunited with grandpa. When you had your first stroke 10 years ago I decided right then that I needed to do what I’m doing now; helping people live healthier and better lives. While I’m going to miss you dearly, just know that you are deeply loved and missed by everyone. This isn’t goodbye, it’s just see you later. I love you Grandma

Proof that I don’t just tell people how to get stronger In all honesty this is probably my 5th workout in the last 3 months, no joke. This past weekend I got to witness my best friend marry his best friend. Now there was a general underlying theme that the groom was a rather salty individual, but having known this man for about 25 years I can speak from experience that he is simply just testing your character. It’s not very often that we have a friend that will call you on your BS and let you know when you’re not being you. While some people see it as salty, I see it as a test of your character, it’s him wanting to see what kind of human you are. And these types of people are very hard to come by. And to @adrilapoi , keep being the sweet to tabs salty. And @tabstract91 stay salty my friend

A little over two years ago I herniated a disc in my back and I honestly thought I would never move or lift the same. Along the way I realized YOU ARE MORE THAN YOUR INJURY. Life is full of setbacks and hardships, but it’s how you overcome them that will define your character. I refuse to let petty shit decide my character; I’m built stronger than that. My goal is to deadlift 500lbs by the end of the year so doing 500x4 in a rack pull got me f*ckin JUICED!!.
