Phil and I walk in this afforestation area at least once a day. It's a fantastic, tranquil walk. Congratulations to the Friends of the Saskatoon Afforestation Areas for promoting another "Take It Outside" Winter Activity.

Our Rec hockey team organized this to help one of our brothers, Mark Sacki Sikorski and his family. Mark has played with us for over 20 years and is a Saskatoon Contact Alumni. Mark suffered a life threatening brain aneurysm, and multiple strokes. Life for Mark, his wife Kelly, and their two children changed instantly!! Thankfully, Mark survived the surgeries and is now recovering in daily rehab to try and get back home to his family. Life will be different for Sacki but we have no doubt that he will once again be coaching his sons hockey team, and be involved in his daughters BMX racing in years to come. Our team wants to ensure the renovations needed at home are completed when Mark is able to return to his family. Huge THANK YOU to all of the sponsors!! Let the bidding begin!!!
