The Divorce Act Changes Explained Divorce Mediation Section 9.(2) of the Divorce Act states .. Even as the world was shutting down around me, my marriage was continuing to as well.. I don't blame the pandemic. Family Mediation Canada Consultation on Custody, Access and Child Support Almost all respondents agreed (94 percent) that the Divorce Act should continue to include the "best interests of the child" test.
