Davidson Environmental has been awarded the new organic waste collection contract for the Niagara Region retirement facilities. This includes 8 different locations around the region and the new location of Deer Park villa in Grimsby With this contract, we will divert roughly 300 tonnes of compostable materials out of the landfill a year!
Although inconvenient at times, reusable items are a necessity when you see the lengthy decomposition rate and burden our earth is taking for our convenience...perhaps we can eliminate the need for a few of these items all together?
