Experienced Garden Maintenance Crew Member Part Time Contract This position is part-time seasonal with approximately 20 hours per week from March to November. Supervised tasks may include weeding, dead-heading, forking, planting, edging, pruning, and general up-keep of client properties. Crews involve 2-3 members under supervision of a crew leader. Our crews are highly professional in training and appearance and dedicated to our clients. The ideal candidate for this positio...n is enthusiastic about gardening and being in nature. Knowledge of plants and maintenance practices are good, but not necessary as we train extensively. Key Qualifications Must be well organized and punctual. Able to work with others and also function well independently. Must be able to follow direction. Physically strong and capable of kneeling, crouching, lifting, shoveling, raking, etc. Candidate must have own means of transportation and possess a valid G license. Office Manager/Contract Job Description Position is part-time, 20-30 hours per week, depending on how much business comes through the door Spring 2021. Contract position runs from mid-March to mid-December. Office Manager provides office and administrative support to the Owner, the Maintenance Crew Chief, the Bookkeeper, and Sub-Contractors used by the company. The essence of the Office Manager position is to have an overview of the company personnel, and activities helping t...o ensure the smooth co-ordination, and on-time operation of our enterprise. The Office Manager is also responsible for communications to and from our clients, suppliers, and Sub-Contractors. All personnel report to the Office Manager, who in turn reports directly to the Owner. The Contract Position includes but is not limited to the following. 1. Office responsibilities, i.e., daily mail, emails, checking schedules. Printing availability lists from nurseries. 2. Meetings Including meetings with the Owner, Sub-Contractors, production meetings on client sites, meetings with clients, etc. 3. Ordering supplies. 4. Filing Includes client estimates, plant lists, marketing materials, etc. 5. Personnel responsibilities include noticing good work and acknowledging extra effort. Scheduling properties with Owner/Chiefs on a daily/weekly basis. 6. Clients. Keeping clients informed, (Over informed), about any activity on their properties. Returning client calls within 24 hours. 7. Financials, (With Owner) ie. creates, Company pay rate sheet/charge out sheets. Cost of goods sold sheet. Allocates time spent on maintenance client properties to the appropriate client. Monitors time sheets to ensure time spent on client properties falls within agreements with clients.
