Can anyone tell me what type of birds these are? I thought they were loons originally, but I don't think they are.

Nature walks are good for the soul

Shooting waves is an artform all it's own! I didn't realize just how challenging it is to capture a wave in a way that shows the beauty and power of them. I am so grateful to have gotten a chance to go out and learn from some of the best wave photographers on the island back in October. 2020 was the start of finally getting over my fears around sharing my pictures. I started a website to offer prints from, which was a big, scary goal for me for a long time. I can't wait to see where 2021 takes me and my camera. One thing for sure, we will be on the beaches taking in the waves a whole lot more!

I've seen this posted in a few places, and I absolutely love the idea!! 2020 has probably been the hardest year of my life. BUT I've also had the most personal growth, I've made some amazing new friends and I've made the most progress towards my goals in 2020 too. For me it's been a year of discovering who I am outside of being a mom and realizing that I can simultaneously pursue things that matter to me, while being the best mom possible. ... Here's to making ourselves proud
