I had a chance to reach out to my fellow contestants today. I was happy to thank them for their efforts in the process. They all have family, friends, and supporters that had hopes and were equally sad for them. Congratulations to everyone for becoming engaged! Also for opening their lives up to the public, it's not easy. :)

UPDATE: I have spent the better part of this morning responding to messages, texts, and phone calls. Somewhere along the way it became less about me being consoled and more about me consoling others on our loss. Thank you so much! It's actually been amazingly therapeutic! My wish always is to ensure I show support to others and appreciate the support I receive. The sun is shining, it's a beautiful day, embrace it! ORIGINAL CONTENT: It wasn't meant to be... God has another plan for me. I'm devastated of course. I wanted this for all of us. I've learned so much and I don't regret putting my name forward even for one second. Again, thank you to all that supported me through this process. Nothing but love people.

Today is the day that sets in motion the next stage of my life. Regardless of the outcome, I would never ever want to change the journey that brought us to today. Thank you to everyone that has offered guidance, educated me, laughed with me, and supported me. My heart is full. Thank you so much! Get out and vote if you're a member. Wish me luck!

On the eve of our Camrose vote, I kept myself occupied hosting a private five course wine pairing Christmas dinner for an extremely happy Camrose business. Was a great way to keep my mind busy! Eating amazing creations provided by our culinary team and enjoying fellowship with friends was just what I needed :)

Taking a little break from campaigning tonight to enjoy some quality time with a super friend supporting our local arts and theatre! Of course there's a little campaigning as I am fortunate enough to be running into some fabulous local supporters doing the exact same thing! ;)
