No filter I know I’ve been a little scarce on here with makeup tutorials. However let me reassure you it’s not because I don’t want to. Since July I’ve been busy with a new work schedule and I’m waking up far too early in the morning to put makeup on to collect garbage lol legit. Now that we are home adulting, we took time to get ready for Christmas awaiting the Grey Cup

Well we have spend just over 24hrs in Toronto which will come to an end soon. We have had a blast so far, sushi, cranium, ps4, Remembrance Day ceremony, saw CN tower, Rogers centre and the aquarium! Halloween is over! All of our candy is gone, and I think that’s a success We didnt even eat any! The boys went out and got bags of candy... in which when we ran out, little did they know we started handing out theirs lol these are things you do... the cutest part was Ashley asking a little boy would he like a little or a lot... the boy responded a little. Ashley then grabbed a little handful and then showed the boy... like this? Then he dropped it back in the bowl and grabbed a huge handful and said or like THIS! But here’s an update, Yesterday, this stud of a husband and I had the most relaxed fun time. We woke up late, drank coffee, got ready... and believe it or not, I actually put makeup on! I mean it was date day, obvi I had to like look done ( I like to roll outta bed and just slay all day) Ashley and I went down town, walked around in Inglewood... he ...even joined me in @plantshopyyc while I drooled over plants I don’t have ... as we left he was like, yea I understand why you like it in there! Then we walked 17th ave and went into @purrseventeenth ... I fell in love with a scarf that I will probably wear everyday for.... ever! On this day back in my hometown of Cobourg Ontario, a service is being held for my dear friend Dylan @dangerous_dylio @maccoubreys. On July 2nd, we all lost him. He was a Father, Husband, Daddy, Friend to many, Son, Brother, Dirtbike fanatic, and so much more. Although I can’t be there to give my condolences, I’m sending all my love to his family and friends. Just a few months ago Dylan and I reconnected and visited him, Trisha and the girls at their beautiful home in Airdrie.... It was so nice to sit down and chat like old friends. I met Dylan in a contest when we were in grade 5. He accompanied a girl playing the guitar and that was when I was blown away, he was such a talented musician. Later on he became very good friends with my Cousin, to which I saw him often. When I was 22, my aunt suggested him and I play music together. In this photo we were at the Cobourg Waterfront for the Canada Day festival, shortly following we played at the Town Hall for an event and I met Trisha..... SUCH a smart, beautiful human. When he and Trish moved out to Alberta, I was sad because he was so much fun! .... a friend reminded me that just before they left, Dylan, Vanessa and I were .... drinking way too much at The Oasis and when it was time to leave, we were all way too tipsy to drive home, Dylan called CAA for them to tow his green truck... but then we realized we needed a reason. So he pulled a spark plug, the three of us piled into the tow truck chain smoking knowing the tow truck driver figured out why we needed the tow...and still gave us a ride. This is a true testimony of how wonderful a human he truly was. And he will be missed. Sending all my love See more

Do you ever have one of those days, where your so excited to accomplish your to do list and then it goes to shit this past Monday I had a bunch to do, I’ve been feeling under the weather so my Doctor suggested to get a blood test, so that was first on my list after making a coffee and taking Axel out to do his business .... but just as I was walking out the door with leash in hand, my husband asked me to stay longer because my bonus sons mother was gunna pick... up his ball gear... ok well that puts me off time a bit but sure I can stick around for another half hr.... then when she was supposed to show up, I get a message saying, no she’s gunna be another 45 mins. Sooooo I did what anyone would do in that moment, I had to leave. I show up at the blood clinic annnnnnd it’s a 90min wait. Holy macaroni... ok no big deal right? But I left my coffee in the COURTESY truck I’m driving because oh ya, my turbo went in my flex..... while I was outside, I called the blood clinic hotline to see if there was an earlier appointment some where else.... nope not until 245, but I have a hair appointment at 1, so that’s a no go. So onto the next thing, seeing as I’m waiting for another 84mins I should call tht ultrasound place to see if they have space for a walk in.... NOPE, nothing available until Thursday. Ya see about 3 months ago I got this Rando bump in the pad of my middle finger... I made a joke to the lady who was booking me into it that it was my karma for giving it so much.... so now to waiting... I waited FOREVER and while waiting, I get word my hair appointment needs to be moved because my stylist threw her back out.....I ended up being late calling a girl named Mandy who I’ve been in contact with from the post about my schizophrenic father, get in to have my blood taken and my stupid vein wouldn’t pop out, no big deal on to the next arm. Ok so now we are rolling, I call Mandy, WE TALKED FOR 2hours!!! I needed this today, thought some of you might, too. When it rains, it pours... am I right? When we experience rain on our daily parades, it’s too easy to let that little storm (no matter how short or small) completely throw off our day. Instead of letting it come and go, we harbor on it in our minds and devote all our energy into complaining about it, hating it, or wishing it never existed. We’re derailed too easily, and suddenly a little sprinkling is a thunderstorm on... our productivity and mood. But remember no rain, no flowers. Dear future self If I could have given myself words of wisdom when I was a child, teenager or in my 20’s. I would say I know you know everything right now....... but you need to take care of yourself. Your heart is the most fragile part of you, you must honour it. There is going to be struggles coming, and the only way to get through them is self awareness and opening your soul to let out what everyone tends to hold back. This may come as a surprise, your dreams of being famous won’t come if you don’t take it seriously. I know Reading books isn’t your favourite, but Audiobooks will be a thing in the future and you will fall in love with the knowledge you can learn if you pick the right ones. You need a tribe girl, and they will come. But be patient. Your going to fall in love with many things and people, don’t change that. It will bring you to opportunities and a husband that is exactly what you need. Never stop playing with hair, and makeup, it will serve you in the future. You can do anything, and you will dabble in everything! The great thing is, YOU get to choose where you want your life to go. I believe in you. You got this. Authenticity Post if you knew me well, what you would know is that I don’t talk about my dad often. because as a young girl and woman it’s a tough place for me to visit. Letting people in that aren’t my family, or a close friend can be a very vulnerable position and I hate rejection.... My dad is an incredibly unique human being, whom I wish I could have shared my love of music with, the way he shared his gift with me. But a mental illness has robbed me of that. Schizophrenia & Addiction took that true connection. This is something I struggled understanding as a little girl, and even now as an adult. As much as I recognize this is the journey his spirit was meant to take, it has always been hard for me to admit to just anyone. I try to show this strong charismatic, happy, loving person and sometimes I fall short, I can be reactive or triggered by a certain tone of a mans voice. It’s hard to love someone with an illness, it’s exhausting emotionally. When I’m near him I melt, I’m happy, I’m sad, I’m protective, I’m reactive, because there is so many emotions I’m making my way thru it’s like my heart and head are in overdrive. But this is also, my journey. This is what I’m meant to go thru and somehow someway, make peace with.
