Kit Packing Party - Oct 27th 4pm - 9pm drop in at the Chappelle Gardens Residents Association. Please Join our Days for Girls team as we compile the components we have worked so hard on into complete Dfg kits. We will be sending the kits with the Amani Africa Period Project to support girls in rural Tanzania. The Amani Africa Period project is currently fundraising for the cost of DFG kits they will be purchasing from enterprises in Tanzania. Any donations would be greatly a...ppreciated. Days for girls is accepting donations of girls underwear (sizes 10/12/14/16 or women's s/m/l - the most common sizes for distributions are 10/12) , facecloths & hotel size bars of soap.

Thanks so much for all the amazing volunteers we had come out to our sew day on Sunday! It was a very productive day! Thanks to Caffiend for the tasty treats you dropped off thanks to the Chappelle Gardens Residents Association for hosting us. It’s less than 2 weeks till the Amani Africa Period Project heads to Tanzania to distribute these wonderful kits! Keep your eyes peeled for a kit packing party or other ways to help in the next weeks. Regular sew days will commence in January

Sew & Prep day this Sunday Oct 20th @ Chappelle Gardens Residents Association. Come Join us as we finish preparing our kits to send to Tanzania. There will be lots of stations to work at. A few Members of our team are going to Tanzania in November to distribute DFG kits with the Amani Africa Period Project. This past weekend they hosted a Game To Give fundraising event as well as spent a morning working on some kit components.
