Today we learned of the passing of our dear friend Ken Monkhouse. He was a wonderful and compassionate man, with a great sense of humour. We'll miss his spiri...t and his big heart. RIP Monkey. It is with permission of the family that we share this, and we ask that their privacy is respected as arrangements are made. There is no gofundme page at this time. Finally some final changes to Atlantic Towing.... I mean Auto Plus Towing... Gah! I mean D&B Towing. For the 3rd and final time we've got a name sorted out and finalized. We are now and finally known as D&B Towing. This new name will be bringing history back to life as it's a name that my Grandfather started some 45 years ago before the name Atlantic Towing was coined. It's definitely exciting news to be able to bring something that holds the history of old school towing a...nd the sentimental value that a family business makes as it's handed down through generations back to life. I want to thank everyone for staying loyal over the last year as we've gone through these changes Please remember that just because our name has changed. We still hold that great friendly service that you've grown to know and are looking forward to helping anyone at anytime.

Well I don’t know where to start. Everyone knows that 2019 brought us some good and some bad and some extremely bad. Here is are 2020 bad only couple months in so earlier this week we were told that the government wouldn’t allow us to use Auto Plus Towing after we have changed all are paperwork and things just starting to head up hill for us.so unfortunately we will be going under another name change and I will keep you posted on new name . As many of you know our 2019 year didn’t end great starting with me and James MacDonald going to pick up a used truck to add to our fleet and not making it home with the truck. Then sickness taking one of our office staff and back bone of the company out for months. Then the name change after a name my grandfather had for 35 plus years had to change not by c...hoice. Then the worst one yet getting hit by teenage thieves that live in the same small town that we help . So in 2020 Auto Plus Towing is planning on growing our fleet and taking our company to the next level with the help of our customers. I want to thank CAA for a great 2019 if it wasn’t for your guys our company wouldn’t be where it is today ! Thank You! We look forward to serving you this year! Happy New year! See more

As some of our clients know we have gone through a few things this year including upgrading equipment. Adding employees. Adding new clients. Some really great changes. Unfortunately we have had some bad luck lately. Including vandalism to vehicles and property, thefts. Break in to vehicles. Sickness. Recently a name change as well. But, last night probably takes the cake for the bad luck. We had two people on our property that all but destroyed Don's truck. They broke the... windows out. Destroyed the center screen and smashed the mirror and did extensive damage to the exterior of the truck. They vandalized another vehicle and did extensive damage to the school bus that's always on the property. The thing I feel that impacts me the most outside of the monetary impacts of fixing all this is that the people who do this just don't care. We go out night and day to help people. Myself, Stevy, Fred, and Bub all get up all hours of the night to go out and help people. Sometimes this includes bringing people into the shop at 2am and setting them up with a tire so they can keep going. Or getting parts on a Saturday to fix a vehicle so people aren't stranded. We assume it's not the people we do this for that are doing these actions. But today we reach to our community that we feel we give so much too and will continue to give too. We need your help tonight. We ask that if anyone has any information on who may have done this to please contact us or the RCMP. Please keep in mind it could be your vehicle or property they damage next.
