I wanted to start this year by properly introducing myself to you! Some of you know me well and some only know me through the social media matrix! This year I want to focus more on photography, working on my branding and website, and sharing more about me with you! ... So here it goes! My Top : I am originally from Elmira, Ont. (North of Waterloo) and moved to London when I was 18 to start school. I went to Fanshawe College and graduated the paramedic program in 2003 . I am a full time paramedic with @mlps911 and will be going into my 18th year! (How is that possible?) I played varsity soccer and volleyball at Fanshawe and went to OCAA’s with both teams! Our volleyball team had a roster of 10 but still made it to the show. And then got totally destroyed by Humber . I have a common law hubs and have been together for almost 7 years! We both have been divorced and are enjoying our life together! I have 3 step kids; 22, 11, 7 My cat’s name is Hemi and @ernie_kerr12 thinks I love my cat more than him. Some days, it’s a toss up I am one of 13 authors published in The Book Of Purpose. I want to continue to motivate, inspire & support others in finding their passion, purpose and WHY! I fell in love with photography as a child. I want to continue to learn, grow and create art through the lens of my camera. I have pretty much self-taught myself everything about photography and enjoy working with other talented photographers. I have been a group fitness instructor with @goodlifefitness since 2012. I have met the most incredible people and members teaching fitness. This continues to be my #1 way to work on my mental & physical health. I am so incredibly grateful and proud of the journey I have been on. Not all pretty for sure, but it’s the hard lessons in life that really influence our lives. I am looking forward to this year. I have been waiting & waiting to photograph one of these guys. FINALLY, I spotted one just outside of Aylmer sitting in a tree I’ve heard others say they’ve spotted bald eagles around here, but I’ve never been able to find one, let alone spot one WITH my camera!... I was still a pretty good distance away and wish I could have got a little closer before the bird decided to fly away It would be an absolute dream to do some serious wildlife photography like @davesandford or @steve_woods_photography, but for now, I’ll continue to capture local wildlife!
