Starting your curl journey takes time and patience. This was my clients first time to come in for a curl cut and style. It’s a big step for a woman who has straightened her hair her entire life!! Today we used No-Poo Original and One Condition Original. Sometimes it’s tempting to go in with Decadence when you see this amount of dryness, but I chose to treat her hair with a Melt Into Moisture and Deep Sea Repair combo for about 10 minutes. I was so happy to see how her curls responded to the moisture!! It will take a few weeks of using these products to fully realize what her curls are capable of . I can’t wait to see how she feels on her next colour visit in 5 weeks! Regardless of whether she continues to straighten or chooses to embrace her curls, I’m so thankful she is taking the opportunity to try!!
