I Ran ladders back when I was a member of the Etobicoke Husky Striders track club as a teenager and they’re just as brutal as I remember them . What are they? Pick four destinations, run to the first and walk back to your starting position(recovery) run to second and walk back, the third, then the fourth. You’re at the top of the ladder ... Now you’re heading down and you will run to the third, walk back, the second and finally the first and you’re done These are sprints so make sure you have a five minute warm up jog beforehand. We did these on a track so we didn’t have to walk back to where we came. We’d run 100mtrs walk 100mtrs all the way to 400mtrs. I’m doing it in a straight line now hence walking back to where I started.
