HAPPY FRIDAY! We are so happy and excited to announce we are reopening today, Friday October 2nd at 11am. After being closed for a week, we would like to say thank you for all of the support we have received from our staff, friends, family, customers and the entire community. We have spent the last few days giving the pub an entire deep clean and sanitization. Our staff is healthy. We are more than ready to see all the smiling faces of our patrons (behind masks - of co...urse!) We will, however be closing earlier each evening, so please note our closing time is now 11pm not 2am. We also want to mention that wearing masks, washing your hands, using sanitizer, and social distancing are all still essential for everyone at Deacon Brodies. Dear friends, family, and valued patrons of Deacon Brodies Elgin. We appreciate your patience during the last few days over the news that we chose to close our bar due to the fact we were notified some of our staff had came into contact with some late night customers on Friday September 18th who later tested positive for COVID-19. It is with great relief that we can officially announce today that none of our staff or their immediate bubbles have been affected by COVID-19 ...in this recent event. All of our staff's tests have come back NEGATIVE. We plan on opening later this week after a deep clean and we will be fully sanitizing our location. We will be so proud to re-open our doors and being serving you again in a safe and rule-abiding environment. We will continue to practice health and safety regulations to keep you and our staff as safe as possible. We thank you all again for the overwhelming support, understanding, patience, but most of all, your continued patronage during these difficult times.
