Deafying The Expectations is yes, a play on the word Deaf. It makes our company - and its mission statement, the #vision that is based on the ideal that you are NOT limited to the goodness that life has to offer, just because you are Deaf. Or you are a Deaf persons daughter. Son, sister, brother. Wherever you are on the spectrum. The expectations of society, will only limit you if you allow them to... at least to me. The culture is something I wouldn’t dream of playing with.... We have all struggled in one way or another, and this organization I know has helped me in so many ways and healed so much of my past, allowed me to continue to learn and grow. Not to mention I’ve met so many incredible people along the way. I’m so grateful for every single one of you who follows up with us. Thank you. I was raised by a Deaf woman who exceeded family members expectations, the worlds expectations, and my own every single day. She inspired me and were here because we want to inspire YOU. Because guess what? You are so inspiring. I’m thinking about making a video of how I personally think I managed to defy some of life’s expectations. I’d love to see others do the same . How I grew up was slightly different in more ways then one. and I want to give our followers a little more insight into myself. More on why this started, and find out more ways from you all on how we can do better. Thank you for your love, support, & your orders We wanna make you proud and we wanna make some change Keep your heads up and keep being your extraordinary selves.
