There is definitely a difference between cats and dogs when it comes to affection. It’s always beneficial to have an exit strategy when snuggling with your feline fur friend

I’ve been working with this dog for more than a month now 4 times a week. She is a lovely girl who was rescued approximately 1 1/2 years ago. For the first little while she was perfect but her temperament started to change slowly. This happens a lot with dogs that have been rehomed. She became fearful and her fight or flight response became aggressive. Between her owner and I, we have been working really hard to make her feel safe and protected. She felt very unstable, feelin...g like she needed to protect herself through quite aggressive behaviour. We needed to take back her power, becoming the dominant part of the team again. Through reiki, animal communication and lots of patience and love, we have turned a corner with both dog and caregiver and had an amazing walk in the forest alongside lots of other people and dogs. There is still work to do to make her a happy, physically and mentally healthy fur babe but I am so proud of both dog and caregiver today. See more
