Planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic is anything but easy. Just ask Sarah and Brandon, who not only went ahead with their original wedding plans, but also experienced a tornado warning and some torrential rain on the day they planned to say "I Do". But in the middle of the reception, something magical happened: the rain stopped, the clouds cleared, and out came the most magnificent rainbow! Give me alllll the backyard weddings! Matt and May tied the knot yesterday on Matt's family property, and it was definitely one for the books! Their ceremony space felt like it came straight out of a wedding magazine, and was filled with little personal touches that made it feel sooo cozy and warm. Such an impressive feat considering that they were initially going to get married at a large wedding venue, but had to re-think their plans amidst the pandemic! This past weekend, I did something a little unconventional.. I PHOTOGRAPHED a wedding! On Saturday, Monida and Ali got married surrounded by their closest friends and loved ones and the day was made even sweeter seeing as it fell on the same day as Monida’s parents’ 33rd wedding anniversary! Their original plans for a larger celebration had to be scrapped due to the pandemic, but yesterday’s ceremony was beautiful to watch.
