Christmas may look a little different this year but one thing never changes...how much I love my family and friends. Merry Christmas to all of you and let’s pray for a safe and happy new year.

If anyone knows of a place for Deron and his family...I know they would be good tenants.

Office Christmas party. We couldn’t do it in person, so a great zoom party complete with the Grinch, champagne, games and of course, a donation to charity. #friskybeaver @royallepagercrorangeville @familytransitionplace

Did you know that there is a chocolate shortage this year? Probably because my office is filled with yummy chocolate treats from Curly Ribbon Kreations...can’t wait to give them out. Thanks Cassandra

We are less than 3 weeks away from Christmas and I've discovered that, while I love the idea of Christmas baking, I really don't love doing it. This weekend, I popped into Landman Gardens and Bakery just north of Grand Valley. They have so much to offer. I think that another trip back is in order to pick up my Christmas baking. There are pies , both sweet and savoury; pickles, cookies, scones (OMG-the scones are to die for), meats, coffees, specialty teas, soaps, cand...les..you could literally do your all your shopping here. Not only is this a great local place to shop, they give back to the community. Currently they are teamed up with the Orangeville Food Bank to provide Christmas meals for those in need. Check out the Christmas Cheer Project on their FB page. I can't wait to return to Landman's.

Dufferin County is experiencing its first snow day of the 2020/21 school year. I know the kids could go online and do classes....but, if you just want to spend some fun time with them, here are some ideas. * Bake cookies or brownies * Start a journal * Have a dance party... * Play Monopoly or Scrabble * Have a picnic lunch in the living room (even better in a Fort you made) * Create a Vision Board * Read stories out loud * go outside and make a snow man or snow angels * Shovel an elderly neighbour’s driveway What can you add to this list that sounds like fun?

As November comes to a close, I just wanted to do a quick shout out to someone who makes everyone smile. Someone who greets you with a Hello Darling and a wicked giggle every time you to come to work. She is the first person that people meet when they walk into Royal LePage RCR in Orangeville. She welcomes everyone warmly whether they are a long time client, a delivery person, or just looking for directions.... She’s never too busy to help out, and pitch in if you need something done. She remembers everyone’s birthdaybecause she is the birthday queen. During this difficult year, she has kept a smile on, under her ever changing masks and hasn’t complained once about the fact that she is the most exposed person in our officea Front Line Hero. Thanks Suzanne for all you do for us at RCR.
