Congratulations to Yvonne & Ioannis! These two lovebirds were married on a hot day at the end of August surrounded by an intimate group of family and friends. The thing I love most about these two is that they have such a great sense of humour, and always find something to laugh about together! We had such a fun time together on their wedding day, and I can't wait to keep working on their photos :)

Bekah and Alex had the biggest wedding party I've ever worked with! Twelve of their closest friends stood by their side on their wedding day - what a way to be surrounded by love! All of these folks were so patient as I worked to get them all into position (and make sure everyone would still be in frame!). It's no easy feat photographing large groups of people, so it always makes my day when I get to work with people who have lots of patience and lots of humour like these folks did!

I am absolutely DYING over these photos For my wedding clients, I offer a free 30 minute engagement session before the wedding day. But since they don't live here in Victoria, Bekah and Alex proposed something different - that we do a 30 minute session the day after the wedding. I'm so glad we did, because the photos we did down at the breakwater at sunset are stunning

A big congratulations to the lovely Bekah and Alex! These two sweethearts were married at a beautiful beach ceremony last weekend surrounded by their friends and family. We were able to sneak away for a few hours to do photos at Mount Doug and Mattick's farm - two of my favourite spots here in Victoria. Here's a sneak peek from their day!

I've sent off my last wedding gallery, and with that... wedding season is officially over for me! Thank you to all the incredible couples that chose me to photograph their weddings this year - you made my 2018 such a fun-filled and exciting year! I can't wait to see what 2019 holds

Some sunny sunflowers and details from Elise and Jason's wedding earlier in September! All of the details included in this wedding were so heartfelt. Elise kept her grandpa close to her on a charm on her bouquet - a beautiful way to honour his memory. I also loved that their wedding rings were made from gold previously used in family jewelry, and were made by a local goldsmith on Pender Island (where they live). So much thought and care went into this wedding, and I'm so honoured to have captured all these little details!

Congratulations to Elise and Jason! These two lovers were married at Goldstream Campground surrounded by their close family and friends. We trekked down to the waterfall at Goldstream park to snap some couples photos - I'm always amazed at how beautiful our home is here on the island! I love so many photos from this wedding day and can't wait to share more!

I'm such a forest lover, and it makes me so happy when my couples decide to have their photos done in the forest I mean, look at how magical these are! Hit that like button if you're a forest lover, too!
