We created an online auction tool to better meet the needs of our client. It’s clear and easy to use, plus there are no hidden fees or percentages lost. Every dollar goes towards raising funds. The concept behind this particular auction is actually really great (especially in these uncertain times) instead of asking businesses for auction items, ask members of your community group what they can contribute to the auction. I’m finding it a challenge letting go of what I thought my 2020 would look like. It was supposed to be a mix of events, travel & music gigs. I keep looking back at February with my trip to Bali & Melbourne sandwiched between the Night Moves Party and the Pink Shirt Gala and think, how did we go from that to this?. The 2nd annual Pink Shirt Gala is almost a week away. It’s a combination pink party / leap year party falling on Feb 29th. Once again @toquecatering is partnering with @pinkshirtgala and preparing amazing pink canapés and a 3 course dinner (plus donating all their pretty plates and flatware). The open bar is sponsored by @4milebrewingco and by @tofinocraftdistillery. There will be special treats sponsored by @ohsugarofficial. Decor sponsored by @trenddecoreventdesign, @rockp...apersquare, @designerweddingsvictoria and @bashspecialty. Plus all the fabulous entertainment, live music, @rollerskatevictoria, the super fabulous Vic High Band, and a couple little surprises. @l.a._limousines will be donating 20% back to @witsprogram if you book them for the gala (highly recommended!). Only 4 more days until the 5th Annual Victoria International Jewish Film Festival. I was contracted after year 2 to help keep the festival alive - it was started by a dedicated volunteer who created an incredible foundation, but wanted their life back - and now, 3 years later, I can proudly say we’ve kept this important event growing and thriving. This year there are 10 film programs, 2 Q&A sessions, and a visiting Broadway & film producer from NYC. Plus, there’s the opening night reception everyone always loves.
