I wanted to turn this outdated patio into a Bali-coastal themed escape. The 20-foot-long wood console under the mirror was imported straight from India. Had to cut it in half to fit in the elevator to go up 60 floors then stitch it back together once on the patio. I also created wall art out of bronze butterflies on the back wall to distract from the metal shower head on the wall. I strung fairy lights in them (and on the Indian doors flanking the mirror) to make it an even more magical oasis at night! Planning this project was both terrifying and exhilarating. This was a project I did solo because I hadn’t built a team yet & the execution involved one full weekend and a serious sunburn.
