Un nouveau fonds de 11,5 M $ pour soutenir nos entrepreneurs touristiques! Je suis très heureuse d'annoncer la création du du Fonds de développement des entrepr...ises touristiques (FDET) en collaboration avec Filaction. Celui-ci permettra de soutenir des projets qui s’adressent à de nouvelles clientèles ou qui allongent la période d’exploitation des entreprises touristiques. Proposant des conditions avantageuse aux entrepreneurs, le FDET s’ajoute aux nombreux leviers mis en place par votre gouvernement pour soutenir l’industrie. Il contribuera notamment à prolonger la saison touristique, tout en favorisant l’augmentation des recettes touristiques et le dynamisme économique de toutes nos régions. The Cafe de la Fjord in Tadoussac was a special place for me. I played there several times over the years but haven't been back for over 25 of them. The last ...time I played there was with Toyo back in 1995 and they still have the poster on the wall. I was there with Breen LeBoeuf the week before Gerry died (in Montreal) back in 1990. We knew Gerry was on his way out and we were both upset that we were so far away from Montreal That didn't stop our performance though, from what I remember the concert (acoustic duo) was great, people are still talking about it. It's been closed this year and is getting quite run-down. It's future is up-in-the-air and they are not sure if it will be re-opened. They made the best seafood chowder I ever had. Some of the old gang is still there, Alain Plante and Andre, the owner. Most people from this region of Quebec were very much for Quebec separation and many of them voted for the "Oui" side. Something they are very proud of. They have the results of the 1995 referendum painted on the wall! I met an old friend from the "Au Hazard" days, we took one photo with our masks, then held our breath and took one without. If the virus is spread through the moisture in our mouths, than I guess holding you breath would stop the spread. You just can't do it for long! I forget this womans' name, perhaps Danielle Antaya knows....let's find out!
