So this just happened...we got the keys to our NEW LOCATION! Deco Stop Outdoor is proud to announce that we will be moving to 155 Military Rd, Lancaster Ontario K0C 1N0. Yes we are staying in Lancaster Ontario, just on the North side of the highway...in our own newly renovated building! Our New location is over triple the space of the last store...so more room to expand our present product lines & offer a better service. We will continue to do business in our present location... on Fridays from 10-17hr & Sat from 9-17hr...until Feb 28 2021 & will resume operations in the NEW building as of March 1 2021. We are planning to have our Grand-Re-Opening to coincide with our 7th Anniversary on May 1 & 2 2021...details to follow. Another shipment has arrived! Although we have been receiving regular shipments this summer...we have not posted much due to the fact that everything was already pre-sold...& did not want to disappoint anyone. However...this shipment there are some left over...finally! We have also received some of the Kayak-ity-Yak folding trailers...

A weekend of fun and training at Morrison quarry. Congratulations to André Carrier un Julie Cardinal for their success in becoming padi advanced open water dive...rs. Special thanks to Christian for all the help underwater and everywhere during the weekend also thanks to Alex for all the help at the surface and congratulations for getting back in the water. Had a great time last week in Les Coteaux for a 'Dive Clean Up'. We managed to remove many bicycles, road signs & even 12' boat with motor & full gas tank. Thanks to Melanie Gingras for organizing the event with the help of le Comite Zip du Haut Saint-Laurent, Christian St. Pierre & Jean-Michel of Ecodive who provided the pontoon. They are planning another one this weekend in Valleyfield if anyone is interested.

Prescott is also now open!

UPDATE...Parkway is open...but no day use activities are permitted yet...according to their site. I will visit later today & continue to update! The Long Sault Parkway is OPEN! I said in a previous post: 'When I know...you'll know!' Well there you go...I am a man of my word.... As I don't have enough time to squeak in a dive before the shop opens...today at 5:01pm I will be heading to Lock 21 for my first dive there since Nov 2019...I'll keep you updated! Le Parkway a Long Sault est ouvert...moi j'irai plongée le Lock 21 a 17:01hr aujourd'hui! Des nouvelles a suivre.

Hello & bonjour (francais a suivre) I have been very quiet on the subject of the opening of the divesites in Ontario. I feel this is not the proper platform to post my personal feelings & therefore have refrained from saying anything. Those who want to know my opinioncome see me in person & we’ll chat. Diving IS permitted in Ontariobut many of the municipalities have yet to open the access points that we are so familiar with in order to get to our favorite sites. But it is... coming soon. So for the time beingthank you guys for being patient, respecting the local authorities & not giving the municipalities a reason to ban us outright from their territories. I have heard rumorsso please don’t quote methat Lock 21 will be opening around June 15. So trust when I say: When I knowyou’ll know! I will probably even close the shop to go diving myself! Once everything is open and permittedI will be hosting a ‘Social Distancing Diving BBQ’ at Lock 21& invite everyone to join me in my happy placefor those who join meyour air fill will be on me! Je pense que ce n'est pas la plate-forme appropriée pour publier mes opinions personnelles, je me suis donc abstenu de dire quoi que ce soit. Ceux qui veulent en jaser venez me voir en personne et nous en discuterons. La plongée EST autorisée en Ontario mais de nombreuses municipalités n'ont pas encore ouvert les points d'accès que nous connaissons si bien pour accéder à nos sites préférés. Ça arrivera bientôt. Donc, pour le moment merci d'être patient, de respecter les autorités locales et de ne pas donner aux municipalités une raison de nous interdire leur territoire. J'ai entendu des rumeurs alors ne me citez pas que l'écluse 21 ouvrira aux alentours du 15 juin. Faites-moi confiance: aussitôt que je sais quelque chose, vous le saurez! Je vais même probablement fermer la boutique pour aller plonger! Une fois que tout est ouvert et autorisé j'organiserai un barbecue de plongée avec la distanciation sociale à l'écluse 21 et j’inviterai tout le monde à se joindre à moi à cet endroit, qui est mon préférer.
