Monday here we go again! And can you believe it's August already?! I thought this year is going to be a long dreadful year but wow is it flying pass faster than ever! have a fantastic week my friends!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!! DeeAna Photography is moving out of the Victoria area, and excitingly welcoming new clients around the Brandon, MB area! As of today I am no longer taking on any sessions or events in the area. ALL sessions and events currently on the calendar will not be affected and will continue as planned. I will begin accepting clients around the Brandon area starting June 1st! ... Thank you all for a wonderful beginning to my photography career. I have had an incredible time working with you all here in Victoria, and am so excited for this new chapter and can’t wait to start working in a new scenery. I am leaving a piece of my heart here. Thank you all for supporting my passion.

This year was so great for me starting my photography business, I've enjoyed every single photoshoot i did, all the baby snuggles i got and beautiful couples i met! this year I'm going to try something else for my own growth and take a break from doing studio shoots (even thou i love them so much!) and focus more on outdoor shoots! (wedding, family, engagement, maternity, cake smashes/milestone, grad)! I'm also traveling back home to Ukraine in may for 2 months so i won't be booking anyone for that time but I'm so excited to enter this year and meet more people! Thank you everyone who let me capture a little bit of your life this past year! i hope you enjoyed it as much as i did! and thank you to my wonderful significant other for getting me a brand new lens for Christmas! I'll be playing with that baby a lot! hahah

To the girl with the iPhone... Not only did you ruin my shot, but you took this moment away from the groom, father of the bride, and the bride. What exactly do ...you plan on doing with that photo? Honestly. Are you going to print it out? Save it? Look at it everyday? No. You're not. But my bride would have printed this photo, looked at it often and reminisced over this moment as her dad walked her down the aisle on her wedding day. But instead, you wanted to take a photo with your phone, blocking my view, and taking a photo that you will not use. Guests, please stop viewing weddings you attend through a screen but instead turn OFF your phone, and enjoy the ceremony. You are important to the bride and groom, you would not be attending the wedding otherwise. So please, let me do my job, and you just sit back, relax and enjoy this once in a lifetime moment.
