It's P S A Time at Deep Ocean Pearl! It's a busy weekend with Halloween on Saturday and the Time change on Sunday but there is one more thing YOU need to do. Your Smoke Detector saves lives. Did you know they're only good for 10 years?? After that time, the sensor may stop detecting particles in the air. Particles like smoke from a fire. When you check and replace the battery, check the date on the bottom of the detector. It will tell you exactly when it was "instal...led". If it's more than 10 years, you need to change it. We just checked all of ours and found them to be 12 years old. YIKES! A small thing and investment you can do to protect yourself, your loved ones and your property. As we head into the Thanksgiving weekend, I just want to say let's all be thankful for what we have. Personally, no one in my immediate family or circle has been touched by Covid. I have a house, a car and a warm bed and can still remember where to find all of them. Food in the fridge and a Thanksgiving Day turkey on the way. I have experiences and mementos and still have good enough health and money to collect some more of each. Also, a great little business which, ...while sidelined for now, continues to survive and grow. Life, while not perfect, is good. What is something you are most thankful for?
