Super proud of my son for wanting to change the world! Plus, happy to share letters for anyone wanting to campaign the government regarding school relaunch.

Current world affairs are intense and important. I have struggled with how to contribute because a blacked out square on Instagram has not felt sufficient. While it can be overwhelming to know where to begin, I am reminded that there is work to do in our own lives. It often takes making space, learning and hard conversations. Check out my latest blog post for my story and a few ideas. deepikamittra.com/blog/2020/6/12/supporting-inclusivity

There is a lot going on in the world right now. It can feel big and overwhelming. You are worthy and the small things you do matter. Reminder to you, and myself, you do not have to do it all. You taking care of your #mentalhealth and #wellness is important. Sometimes that means saying "no" to more work, commitments, online gatherings, etc. Sometimes, like for me today, it means getting a bit more intentional about my #selfcare I know I've shared about this before, but I can...'t help but say again how helpful I find visual feedback and tracking. Charts are not just for kids, it helps in #adulting too! I recommend tracking no more than 3 things at a time. By noting what I've been doing for #wellness, I can also correlate that to how I am #coping. Plus kiddo seems to relish in the fact that momma needs to work on things and practice too! #yeg #yegtherapist #socialwork
