Call for Artists The DRG (Deep River Gallery) is changing it’s mode of operation from themed shows to a continuous art show and sale! Under the new mode, artists are being offered an opportunity to exhibit a selection of their artwork in the public space of the Deep River Town Hall.... Artists will be allotted up to 8 feet (2.5 meters) of space. There is no set theme, works will be the artist’s choice, but will be subject to the approval of the DRG and the town of Deep River. If you wish to be considered, email the gallery [email protected] with the following: A photograph of each item: Title of artwork: as you would like it on a label. Category: for example, paintings (watercolour, oil, acrylic), fibre art, drawings, glassware, photography etc. Size framed or mounted: Height and width for wall art, plus depth for 3 dimensional objects. Opening reception for Pop Up Art Renfrew County at the Deep River and District Hospital is Thursday July 4th, 1:30 to 3:30pm. The exhibition will remain in Deep River until July 21st. Funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, in partnership with Ottawa Valley Creative Arts Open Studio and Community Resource Centre - Killaloe, Pop Up Art is a mobile art gallery appearing in public facilities and business through-out Renfrew County delivering engaging and inspiring arts experiences for Renfrew County residents.
