A big happy birthday to this rider today. Roughly a year ago I had the thrill of coaching Sierra Mark and her great horse Heat Wave 3D as they took it all home ...at the 2019 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, the world's largest indoor agricultural fair. In addition to running an incredible horse show that attracts large crowds and top competitors from around the globe, the fair also showcases the best in Canadian agriculture and innovation. While the Royal is not running in-person this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage everyone to check out their social media and website for some exciting and interactive online events they have planned. The Canadian 2020 show season has been short and sweet. Baffin an I have been consistently double clear in all of our Grand Prixs to include the final GP of th...e year a very technical 1.40m track with 29 strong particapents. When walking the course I shared with an old friend and coach that I was intimidated by the technical task at hand. He was supportive as he reminded me of years of training while under his toutaledge. He then said he wanted a mention in any facebook post as he had noticed I like to make posts. So I thank you Ian Millar for all your support. Ekon and Sunny Skies finished out the season in the 1.10m GP also double clear 4Th for Ekon and 5th for Sunny and Elizabeth Spencer. I want to thank the whole team at Westley Clover Park and the Ottawa Tounement Horse Show for putting on the well planned and safety conscious competitions this most difficult year. Love this sport. Successful last day of a shortened Canadian show season. All 3 horses double clear with Ekon 4th in his mini prix, Sunny 5th in his and Super Baffin 5th in a very competitive Grand Prix. Big thanks to Wesley Clover Parks for putting on a well run and COVID safe group of shows.
