Congratulations to Deerpath Students for completing our FIRST LIVE ONLINE RECITAL!! How wonderful to have family & friends join us from all across Canada, COSTA RICA, SWEDEN and SOUTH AFRICA! Bravo!

As the year draws to a close here at Deerpath Studio, I have received questions about when lessons will resume in person. As a member of ORMTA (provincial association of CFMTA Canadian Federation of Music Teacher's Association), Deerpath Studio adheres to the guidelines provided. Music Teachers are not considered an essential service and therefore we will continue with online lessons until we have been given the guidelines to do so safely. I will keep you posted over the summer months as our situation changes. Until that time, lessons will continute to be offered online only. Thanks ~ Mrs L

I am THANKFUL that Deerpath Students have managed so well with online lessons but it's just not the same as having the in-person experience. I was reminded of this today as one of my younger boys shared that he wanted to skip lessons until we were together again as he misses me and he's tired of the "screen lesson". Me too buddy! Me too! ;)

Our annual student Maple Music Hike was cancelled :( But now you can have a peak inside the new Sugar House here at Deerpath Farm and watch Mr Levitan making syrup!
