At Defy, we mustache you to join us in raising awareness to make a difference in mens mental health and suicide prevention. Through this campaign we want to encourage men to talk about their health, their mental health and ask for help! We as a society need to do better at providing men with the resources they need and to end the stigma. This November we are raising funds for all the fathers, brothers, sons and friends in our lives. Our goal is to raise $500, if you would l...ike to help support, click the link below! https://movember.com/m/14308223?mc=1

Think about this.. when you move, (even in every day movement) whether it's running, walking or climbing stairs, you’re never really standing with two feet planted on the ground right? So solely relying on two-legged squats alone won’t always optimize or mimic your performance movements. Head over to our Instagram page to find out more about and the benefits of incorporating single leg exercises into your routine!

Okay we heard you guys ... you all want to see Andrew with no beard! And through some negotiations, we’ve settled on a deal! However we feel it be important to mention that Andrew has had this beard for over 8 YEARS ... So shaving it would be a big deal! Below are the agreed terms.. 1 We have to reach our goal of $500 2 Andrew will shave his beard to a moustache if we raise $750 3 If we reach $1000 ... YOU the followers will decide what the guys have to do. This could be a fun activity, 1000 reps of an exercise, wearing something outrageous to work for a day... letting us girls shave and design their beards for a day. Whatever the creativity takes you!!! The most liked comment will be the winner of what they do! And of course we will live stream the event, so you can all see So if you want to see it happen .. you’ve got to donate!! There’s only 18 days left to make it happen. . . . #movember #guelph #guelphstrong #physiotherapy #massagetherapy #endthestigma #menshealth #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #men

Kyle was seen working with one of our younger clients who recently had reconstructive ACL surgery. He has been working with him increasing his range of motion and quadricep activation. Quadricep strength is vital for normal knee joint function. So working on getting back to that normal function after injuries is an essential component of rehabilitation. Did You Know ... That almost a quarter of a million ACL injuries happen in Canada and the US every year? It is one of the most common injuries when it comes to activity/sports. It can occur with sudden changes in the direction of movement, rapid stopping, jumping and landing abnormally, a direct blow to the lateral aspect of the knee, or slowing down while running.
