Covid-19 update:

Good evening parents: I am keeping an eye on the weather tonight; we are still under an extreme cold warning according to Environment Canada. Wow! It sure is cold out there! According to DEA policy, we are required to close the school at temperatures of -35 or colder. Also, I cannot ask teaching support staff to attend school in those freezing temperatures. I feel badly for the kids not being able to come to school, and I fully understand that this can be a challenge for so...me parents. Numerous schools in our district and in the NWT have had closures this week due to extreme cold temperatures, so it is not just us. Thanks for your understanding. I’ll be in touch in the morning.
