I love when I get to visit a completed project, after a customer has moved in, because I know how much furniture can completely change how you feel moving in your space. I’m working on an amazing renovation project in Lake Summerside in @yeg and I just got this amazing update from site this morning This house had an incredible solid tiger wood throughout and the homeowners, speaking straight to my heart, opted to refinish the existing floors in order to save them instead of just ripping them out and turning this beautiful wood into garbage. You can see that the original colour had a lot of red/orange undertones and that wasn’t going to work... well with our new design. After some custom mixes of stains and a few different site visits we nailed down the new colour a few days ago and now it’s in The new colour is INCREDIBLE right? Let me know what you think They are still curing for the next few days so the rest of our project is on hold for just a little while but the space is sure coming together nicely. I’ve been working on something so exciting the last few weeks one of my largest renovations projects is about ready to start being put back together. Demo is complete and included installing a new beam and taking out some walls to let alll the sunshine in this stunning project includes a new kitchen with navy and white cabinets, brushed warm metal hardware throughout and some beautiful natural texture and gorgeous tiger wood floors that will be refinished and stained sim...ilar tones to the floor above. We also have a full en-suite and walk in closet redesign happening!! And I gotta day it’s soooo good The design is complete and the customers are so excited! Kitchen cabinets They are probably the most important decision you’ll make when building new or renovating your space. I’ve been really enjoying the lighter cabinet colours (namely white) so long as I’m able to create beautiful contrast in some way. Sometimes that’s adding a wood accent or choosing a black or brushed gold handle to the finished design.
